As the first snow blankets the ground, our country finds itself in the grip of a deep chill, both inside and out.
There’s something fitting about this snowstorm arriving just after an election that has left millions of us stunned, confused, and yes—afraid.
We are more educated than ever.
We have seen what four years of destructive leadership can do to our rights, our safety, our sense of who we are.
And yet, here we are, grappling with a harsh and bewildering reality.
But in the silence that snow brings, something else rises: clarity.
We take a collective breath and realize that just like winter itself, this moment is temporary.
Beneath the frost, the roots of change run deep and strong, holding firm.
This isn’t the end; it’s a pause, and in that pause, we are gathering our strength.
This is the moment to rally—not to shrink or to quiet down, but to get louder, to reach further, to connect with each other in ways we’ve never done before.
We cannot go back, and we will not go back.
Every hard-won right, every piece of progress that took generations to achieve is worth every ounce of fight we have in us.
So here’s our charge, our rallying cry: Women, this is Our moment.
Be louder than ever.
Lean into the strength of your communities, your sisterhoods.
Mentor girls and young women to claim their voices, their rights, and their dreams as non-negotiable.
Stand with the women next to you, share your story, and invite them to share theirs.
Because we know that when we act with fierce love, we are unstoppable.
And for the men who stand with us, we see you, we appreciate you, and we need you.
Be our allies in this.
Stand beside us in the workplace, in the voting booth, in the classrooms, and in the courts.
Show up for us as we show up for you, because together we will ensure that the values we hold dear—equality, respect, dignity—remain at the heart of our nation.
Let’s be relentless in our love, our resilience, our courage.
Let this setback be the spark that lights a new fire, a fire that will outlast the cold, a fire that will bring us back to the warmth of freedom, justice, and true progress.
The storm is here, but so are we.
We are the roots holding strong, waiting for spring.
And when it comes, we will rise, fierce and unbreakable.
Let’s keep marching.
We’ve got work to do.
